Duplicating a case is useful when you want to use an existing case as a blueprint for a new case. Or when you want to share a case with someone on another monitor.
Duplicating implies that a new identical case will be created and start collecting messages, but without the messages collected in the original case.
To duplicate a case from the case overview:
- Click the ‘More’ ellipsis of a case tile
- Select ‘Duplicate’
- Choose the destination monitor,
- Name the case appropriately
- Select the auto-pause period
- Finally, select 'Duplicate'.
If you duplicate a case to another monitor, that monitor needs to have at least the same language and sources settings as the source monitor.
An error will be displayed if the destination monitor doesn't have the same configurations. Screenshot the error message if you want us to change the configurations.
