Messages from Mastodon are only collected when specific instances are added to a Case monitor instance. In this article, you will learn how to add an instance, and where to find them.
Adding Mastodon instances
- Open the Casemonitor
- Go to Casemonitor settings
- Choose '+Add instance'
- Add the full name or URL of the Mastodon instance
- Select 'Add instance'
- Select the arrow next to 'Mastodon' to see the list of added servers
When an instance is connected to the Casemonitor, messages from that instance become visible in the Cases when the messages match the search terms.
