Maltego Monitor (previously PublicSonar) offers the possibility to retrieve information from YouTube using YouTube API.
YouTube Terms of Service are included in our Terms of Services and, by enabling YouTube as a source of data, end-users acknowledge and agree that such data are subject to the following Terms & Conditions:
YouTube data is retrieved based on key words queries performed on video title and description. Maltego Monitor stores the following video information: ID, Title, Description, Channel ID, Channel Name, Channel Title, Submission Time, Thumbnail, video link, video size.
Additionally, Maltego Monitor does not use cookies to track YouTube users.
Collected data is only displayed in the Maltego Monitor application and is not shared with any third-party. They are stored in our servers in the Netherlands.
The retention of YouTube data in Maltego Monitor's infrastructure is subject to the customer own policy or, in absence of such policy, to PublicSonar global data retention policy. In case of doubt, please contact your PublicSonar representative.
In case of authorized data, users can revoke the access to their data via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions, or submit a ticket in the existing support application.
