At the top right of the Case page, you will see a small menu bar with the 'More' option. To create a real-time dashboard, click on 'Create dashboard'.
After naming the dashboard, the monitor will automatically create a dashboard for the case.
The Maltego Monitor dashboard is completely customizable according to a user's needs.
By using the ‘Settings’ menu from within a dashboard, users can change the default settings for all the widgets in a dashboard, such as:
- The time period
- What searches/filters to show or not show in the dashboard
- What sources to show
A default dashboard layout is available that includes a map, timeline, visuals, and messages from the case.
To adjust the layout, click ‘Layout’:
- Add widgets such as sentiment analysis, a timeline, or key insights
- Move the widgets by dragging and dropping them
- Delete the widgets by clicking on the trash bin icon of a widget
- Change the individual settings of a widget by clicking on the cogwheel
