Credit Limit Reached or No Valid Maltego Search License

Modified on: Thu, 15 Oct, 2026 at 1:43 PM

Cause

These messages indicate that your account cannot currently execute Maltego Search queries for one of the following reasons:

  1. Your organization has exhausted its available credits. Your organization's shared monthly credit allocation has been fully consumed. Until the next billing or quota cycle begins, no additional Search queries can be executed unless additional credits are purchased.
  2. You have exhausted your personal credit allocation. Your organization administrator has configured an individual monthly credit limit for your account, and you have reached that limit. Although the organization may still have credits available, your personal quota has been exhausted.
  3. No valid Maltego Search license is assigned to your account. Your account does not currently have access to Maltego Search. This can occur if:
    • No Maltego Search license has been assigned to you.
    • Your organization does not have a Maltego One subscription.
    • Your access has been removed or changed by an administrator.

Resolution

To regain access to Maltego Search, contact your organization's administrator.

Your administrator can:

Option 1: Purchase Additional Credits

If your organization has exhausted its credit allocation, your administrator can acquire additional credits to make Search available again before the next reset cycle.

Option 2: Increase Your Personal Monthly Quota

If you have reached your individual credit limit, your administrator can review and increase your personal monthly quota allocation.

Option 3: Purchase a Maltego One plan
