Echo Overview

What is Echo?

Echo is an AI-powered assistant built into Monitor that helps you work smarter with your case data. It can read and understand the messages in your case, answer questions about them, and surface insights, all without altering the data itself. Think of it as your intelligent analyst sitting inside every case.

What can Echo do?

Echo can help you understand and analyze your data more efficiently.

It can:

  • Summarize messages or conversations in your case to give you a quick overview.
  • Translate messages between languages.
  • Find patterns and connections (e.g., recurring topics, entities, or trends).
  • Surface relevant messages based on your question (e.g., “Show me all messages mentioning phishing domains”).
  • Explain context behind specific messages or threads.

What can Echo not do?

Echo is read-only. It cannot modify or interact with your data beyond analysis.

It cannot:

  • Create, edit, or delete messages, entities, or cases.
  • Change any case settings, search queries, or filters.
  • Perform actions (e.g., exporting, tagging, or sharing).
  • Access or analyze data outside the case it’s invoked in.
  • Echo only interprets what already exists in your case, it doesn’t change or add anything.

Who can and cannot use Echo?

Users need to have Echo enabled for their organization to use it. If not enabled already, please contact the Account Manager for your organization.
