• Audit Logs: 
  • Audit Logs is a dedicated page on Maltego Admin which includes all the details of present previously in Credit Usage Logs along with new updates. Organization admins will be able to view logs of product usage by their organization members.
  • New details include the input entity type used for an investigation.
  • Organization Admin consent added to the Auditing Page that will enable the feature. 
  • Audit logs can be filtered by product, user, date range. 
  • Exporting to CSV, XLS format is also available.
  • This feature is available for Enterprise plans only. 
• Maltego Hunchly license generation: 
  • Maltego Hunchly is now a manageable product via Maltego Admin. 
  • Admins can view it as a product and generate license files by submitting Hardware IDs
  • Generate license files can then be downloaded and shared with organization members.
• Maltego Evidence: 
  • License files can now be generated for FasterData variant of Maltego Evidence.
  • Also, now you can use your Maltego Evidence dongle's hardware ID to generate license files in Maltego Admin.  
• UX Improvements: 
  • Long organization names can now be viewed completely in tooltp in the organization selection dropdowns. 
  • Invitation to join an organization can now be declined by users. This action would delete the invitation received.

• Multiple critical bugs resolved, including audit log filtering, invitation status, and product assignment issues.

• Credits Usage History and its Export 
  • Admins can now view Credit Usage history on a monthly basis for their organization members (Credits Page > Overview tab > Scroll down to Credits Usage History)
  • What it means: Admins can view how many credits in total were spent by an org member and can decide if credit limits are required to be imposed.  
  • This history can be exported to CSV or XLS formats

• User/Product Management
  • Sorting added to tables.
  • Credits product can now be viewed for more details by clicking on it to get more understanding.

• Security & Authentication
  • Multiple failed Maltego ID login attempts now block the account for 10 minutes.

• Username Based Maltego ID Accounts:
  • Customer Admins can now create accounts based on usernames without requiring email addresses. These accounts allow users to log in to Maltego products using a username and password.
  • Admins can generate multiple Org Admin and Investigator accounts at once.
  • Credentials are delivered via one-time login links for secure onboarding.
  • Username prefixing and role assignment are supported during account creation.
• Restricted profile settings for username accounts:
  • Limited access to profile customization and support portal visibility.
• Admin-controlled password recovery:
  • Organization Admins can reset the password of a username-based account.
  • If MFA is enabled, the reset includes MFA credentials to ensure secure recovery.

  • Customer Admins can now view, download, and generate Evidence license files using hardware IDs.
  • Maltego Staff can also generate licenses using customer-provided hardware IDs.

• Region configuration for Maltego Cases:
  • Maltego Staff Admins can now assign a data storage region (US or EU) for customer organizations. 
  • Supports compliance with regional data residency requirements.

  • Introduces a consistent, intuitive layout across the platform.
  • Enhances usability and reduces the learning curve for users switching between products.

• Credit limits management
  • Customer Organization Admins can now set credit limits per month on their organization's members to cap the credit usage and make it more efficient. Also having the ability to set limits allow our customers to make sure a single user does not overuse the credits in the organization and distribute the credits efficiently.
  • Please note this feature is only accessible to our Professional and Organization Plan customers.

    • In this release, the Maltego Search Widget is available to run investigation searches directly from the Browser App.

• Overview Page
  • To bring more transparency to our customers, the Overview page provides the details of Maltego Credits available to the Organization.
  • It also displays Credit Consumption within a calendar month.
  • The Customer Admin is able to view the Credit Usage Logsof members registered to the Organization.
    • The Version 1.7.1 release allows the Admin to view the number of Credits used by each Organization member.

• Organization Switching: Users can be part of multiple organizations with different types of roles/permission in each of them. Switch between your personal and other organizations with ease.

  • Invite, Remove, and Update Users: Organization Administrators can now easily manage users within the organization. Invite new members or remove existing ones, and update existing user permissions, products with a few clicks.
  • Assign Roles Tailor user access by assigning roles, ensuring that every team member has the appropriate level of access to the organization's products and features on the Maltego Admin.

• Product Management
  • Manage Products: Keep your products in check and up to date. View your organization's products, their details such as date of renewal, their current assignments and also update their allocation to your organization's members.

• Download Latest Client Builds
  • Access the Latest Builds: Users can now download the latest builds of the Maltego Graph's desktop client directly from Maltego Admin. Stay up to date with the newest features and improvements by accessing the most recent versions available. Also find relevant help materials like Client Requirements, FAQs, Product documentation and Maltego Support channels.

• Profile Settings
  • Profile Management: Update your personal profile information, such as password, directly within Maltego Admin.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Configuration: Enhance your account security by configuring Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Choose to protect your account by enabling Auth from an Authenticator App or via recovery codes.

• Access Maltego's connected applications 
  • Find Maltego's connected product applications in the navigation menu for quick access. Product apps which are purchased will redirect to their relevant interfaces while unpurchased products will redirect to their sales webpages.

• The Registration/Signup process of Maltego ID (single user ID to access all Maltego Products) has been updated with more secure infrastructure and user-friendly interface.

• Follow a step-by-step sign-up process to get a Maltego ID and access Maltego Admin.
