There are currently four Roles present within an Organization:
Org Admin
Has access to the user management features of an organization in the customer portal. Org admins cannot access financial data (unless they are assigned the role of finance admin as well)
Finance Admin
Has access to only billing and subscription features of an organization in the customer portal
Investigator/Member
Has viewing access to products inside an organization and can navigate to/use products which are assigned by the Org admin
Beta User (Only available when Beta Program is enabled)
Users with member access but are enrolled in the beta program by their organization which has also opted in for beta program. Beta role is assigned when an organization is enabled/enrolled for the beta program.
An Org or Finance Admin can update the user's permissions inside an organization, then this can be done by simply:
- Navigate to the Users tab from the side menu.
- Select the user and click on Details.
- From the Roles dropdown, select the Role which you'd like to assign the user.
Note: An Org Admin cannot change the role of a Finance Admin and similarly, a Finance Admin cannot change the role of an Org Admin.>
